The Solution

vStream created a world’s first: an Augmented Reality Garage Tour that C-Level and VIP guests would experience during race weekends. This experience used Epson’s groundbreaking Moverio BT-300s augmented reality glasses. The guests’ view of the busy Mercedes AMG PETRONAS Motorsport garage is seamlessly augmented with content including driver profiles and slow motion pit stops to engine animations and a live twitter feed. The AR experience uses a number of advanced technologies to achieve the effect of full immersion. Dynamic holograms that are triggered by object recognition, cloud based live updates, 360 degree range of freedom and second screen integration all work seamlessly together to provide an unforgettable fan experience.
